Sean Alward is a Vancouver based artist working in painting and photography. He received his BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (exchange at Cooper Union, New York) and MFA from the University of British Columbia. Exhibition venues include Helen Pitt Gallery, Or Gallery, 304 Days, Access Gallery, UBC AHVA Gallery, Richmond Art Gallery, Nanaimo Art Gallery, Surrey Art Gallery, and Wil Aballe Art Projects. Permanent Public Art installations include the Nova Scotia Forensic Hospital, New Westminster Skytrain Station, and Newton Recreation Centre. Writing published in Canadian Art, C Magazine, Border Crossings, Georgia Straight, and Art Margins.
